After a lengthy application process, Gallaudet's membership in the Internet 2 Commons has been approved. The Commons, based at Ohio State University, is a consortium comprised of over 200 colleges and
universities. The Internet 2 Commons provides advanced collaboration, videoconference and multi-point bridging services to member institutions.
