On May 23, 2003, from 9:00 am to 2 pm, Gallaudet University will host the e-Learning Conference of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area (http://www.consortium.org).
The conference is entitled "The Real Stuff: Faculty E-Learning Showcase." The morning session, two presentations by world-reknowned experts, will take place in the Student Union Building Multimedia Theatre and the afternoon session will be held in the Student Union Building Multipurpose Room (http://sac.gallaudet.edu/facilities/meetingrooms). A call for faculty presenters will be sent to area universities and colleges in mid-April. The program is being coordinated by Dr. William Lantry (Catholic University), Dr. Cindy King (Gallaudet University), and Dr. Ginger Smith (George Washington University).
The conference is free of charge for attendees. A morning snack and lunch will be provided. Registration is required and will be available at the Consortium web site (http://www.consortium.org).
Gallaudet's Academic Technology will provide conference support.
A call for presentations by area faculty will be sent out by mid-April.
