Academic Technology offers training to use TurnItIn.com!Unit: Learning Technology
Academic Technology is providing training to experiment with TurnItIn.com, an online tool that allows students to submit papers to detect possible plagiarism. The tool displays color codes with the severity of the plagiarized content. TurnItIn.com also allows for peer reviews of papers with instructions for students to grade the papers based on certain criteria chosen by the instructor. Within 24 hours, the students can see how they fared with plagiarism. The results are color coded from blue to red (mild to severe) and will highlight the plagiarized content and list the websites, books, or articles from which the content was copied. The students can submit their papers as easy as 1-2-3! Are you interested? We have several e-Learning workshops for you - or you could contact your e-Learning Facilitator.
