The International Internship Program for American Deaf College Students is a unique semester or summer abroad internship program which is specifically designed for American Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. This program is offered in Costa Rica, Mexico and Argentina. Students are placed in specially designed internships in their major fields of study and interact with the local deaf communities. Interns might take college courses in Spanish Composition and Spanish Readings at our partner institutions taught in local sign languages by local deaf teachers. Interns live with host families with at least one deaf member.
